McLaren Artura

A McLaren with a different rhythm

The McLaren Artura is a mid-engined coupe with the sharp steering and close-to-the-road feel you would expect from the badge. Its plug-in hybrid powertrain gives it a different character from a conventional petrol supercar: responsive when you ask for pace, but easier to settle into a gentle drive through Downtown traffic. It still feels special at ordinary road speeds, which matters in a city where much of your time is spent between junctions.

On Sheikh Zayed Road, it feels composed and purposeful. Around hotel entrances, car parks and the Palm, take your time with ramps, speed bumps and tight turns. This is a low coupe, not the car to hurry over a kerb.

Best with a plan and a light bag

This Artura suits a birthday, a photo shoot or a Dubai visit built around a few memorable drives. Jumeirah Beach Road makes more sense than a packed sightseeing schedule: you can enjoy the car without constantly looking for parking. It also makes an occasion of arriving at a hotel valet or heading out for an evening on the Palm.

There are two seats, so it works best when the trip is about the people in the car rather than carrying a group. Pack lightly, especially if you are collecting it before a longer drive within the UAE.

The details before you book

The Artura has a 3.0L V6 plug-in hybrid engine producing 671 hp, an automatic transmission, two seats and two doors. That is the useful shorthand: substantial performance in a compact coupe, with a cabin designed around the person driving and their passenger.

The rate is AED 2,772 per day. There is no security deposit on this car, and the minimum rental age is 21. Insurance is included. If you would like to rent a McLaren in Dubai, send your dates on WhatsApp and we can help you plan the right drive. Every rental includes 250 km per day.
