Chevrolet Tahoe

A practical start to a Dubai visit

Airport arrivals rarely come with just one small bag. The grey Chevrolet Tahoe gives a group room to settle in, with seven seats and an SUV shape that suits a trip from the terminal to a hotel or holiday home. It is a sensible choice for families and visitors travelling together, though a full cabin may call for some thought about luggage before everyone sets off.

Easy on the open road, mindful in town

On Sheikh Zayed Road, the Tahoe feels most at home covering distance at a steady pace. The higher seating position helps you read the traffic ahead, while the automatic transmission keeps stop-start stretches through Downtown straightforward. Its size is worth remembering around tight Marina parking spaces and busy hotel entrances; take speed bumps gently and allow a little more room when manoeuvring.

For a day out to Abu Dhabi or a drive towards Hatta, its relaxed character makes more sense than a smaller car packed with people.

The Tahoe in brief

This is a grey, five-door SUV with a 5.3L petrol V8 producing 355 hp. It has an automatic transmission and seats seven. The appeal is not complicated: space for a group, an elevated view of the road and enough power for confident progress on UAE roads.
