Land Rover Range Rover Velar

White works well here

A white Range Rover Velar looks particularly at home against Dubai’s glass-fronted hotels and bright coastal roads. It has presence without feeling showy, which makes it a sensible choice for business visits, a birthday dinner or a photo shoot where the car should look polished rather than dominate the frame.

On the road, the Velar’s appeal is its composed, easy-going manner. The automatic gearbox takes the work out of Downtown traffic, while the raised seating position is useful when moving through busier streets. It is an SUV to settle into, not one that asks you to drive everywhere in a hurry.

From city streets to the Corniche

The Velar suits visitors who want one car for hotel arrivals, time around the Palm and a drive beyond Dubai. Its cabin and five-seat layout also make sense for a family or a small group travelling together. For a longer day out, the route to Abu Dhabi Corniche fits its relaxed character better than a rough off-road itinerary.

Parking and speed bumps still call for the usual care you would give an SUV of this size, particularly around busy hotel entrances and Marina streets.
