Monthly car rental in Dubai: a practical guide
Renting for a month or longer is often simpler than buying or leasing. Here is how monthly rental works with us and what to check before you commit.
Quick answer
- Rent Any Car Dubai offers monthly car rental on every car on the site, from everyday cars at AED 198 a day to SUVs and luxury cars.
- Monthly prices are quoted individually on WhatsApp, because they depend on the car and the season. Every rental includes 250 km per day.
- Residents need an Emirates ID and a UAE driving licence; visitors need a passport, entry stamp or visa and a licence accepted in the UAE.
- There is no security deposit on any car. Contact us on WhatsApp at +971 54 150 2851.
Who rents monthly in Dubai?
Monthly rental suits people who need a car for a defined period without the commitment of buying or a long lease: new residents waiting for their visa or for a car to arrive, families on an extended stay, professionals on a project, residents whose own car is being repaired, and companies hosting staff. You get one fixed monthly price, delivery to your door and the freedom to hand the car back at the end of the term.
How our monthly prices work
Our site shows daily prices. For a month or more, send us the car, the start date and how many months you need, and we quote a monthly price. Longer rentals are priced lower per day than single days. Every rental includes 250 km per day, and there is no security deposit on any car.
Cars that make sense for a month
| Need | Good choices | From per day |
|---|---|---|
| Lowest running cost | Mazda 6, Citroën C4 X | AED 198 |
| Compact SUV | Mazda CX-5, Cadillac XT4 | AED 198 |
| Family space | GMC Yukon, Chevrolet Tahoe | AED 446 |
| Executive saloon | BMW 530i, Mercedes-Benz E200 | AED 644 |
| Premium SUV | Maserati Levante, BMW X7 | AED 584 |
Daily prices are shown so you can compare cars; your monthly quote will be confirmed on WhatsApp.
Documents for a long-term rental
- UAE residents: Emirates ID and a valid UAE driving licence. Residents generally cannot drive on a foreign licence once their residence visa is issued.
- Visitors: passport, the visa or entry stamp, and a driving licence accepted in the UAE, plus an International Driving Permit if your licence requires one.
- Companies: ask us about corporate bookings with several cars or drivers on our corporate rental page.
Costs to budget for
- The monthly rental price from your quote.
- No security deposit: nothing is held on your card, even on a long rental.
- Fuel, Salik tolls and parking, which you pay as you use the car. Regular commuters should look at their route: peak-hour Salik crossings cost more.
- Any traffic fines, which are passed on to the driver.
Practical tips for a month behind the wheel
- Salik adds up for commuters. If you cross toll gates twice a day at peak times, budget for the tolls along with fuel.
- Think about parking at home and at work. Many residential towers allocate one bay per apartment; ask your building about visitor parking for a second car.
- Fuel economy matters more over a month. An economy car or a compact SUV costs much less to run than a V8 SUV.
- Keep your documents valid for the whole term. If your visa status changes during the rental, for example from visitor to resident, your licence requirements may change too.
If you are not sure which car fits your month, tell us your daily routine (commute distance, passengers, parking) and we will suggest two or three options with their prices. You can also compare everyday cars on the economy page and larger cars on the SUV page.
Monthly rental or leasing?
Leasing usually means a longer commitment and fixed conditions. Monthly rental is usually more flexible, with shorter commitments; ask us about the terms for your car. If you are unsure how long you will stay, starting with a monthly rental keeps your options open.
