Land Rover Range Rover Velar

From arrivals to the hotel

An airport run is a good way to understand the Land Rover Range Rover Velar. It is a five-seat SUV with a calm, well-finished cabin, so the journey can feel like a pause between a flight and the rest of your day. Its automatic transmission makes Downtown traffic straightforward, while the raised seating position gives you a useful view when navigating unfamiliar streets.

On Sheikh Zayed Road, the Velar feels more at home settling into a steady journey than trying to make one dramatic. It has enough presence for a hotel entrance without looking out of place on an ordinary trip to the shops.

Room for a varied itinerary

This is a sensible choice for visitors who want one car for airport runs, business appointments and time with family. The five doors make getting in and out easier when plans involve several stops, and the SUV body is a practical match for Dubai’s speed bumps and hotel entrances. It also suits a relaxed drive along Jumeirah Beach Road or a day out towards Abu Dhabi.

If your plans are mostly around the Marina or busy hotel car parks, bear in mind that the Velar is still an SUV. Leave yourself room when parking rather than expecting it to feel like a compact car.
