Lamborghini Urus S

A Lamborghini with room to breathe

The gold Lamborghini Urus S is a performance SUV, not a low-slung sports car. It has the presence people expect from the badge, with a higher seating position and a cabin that makes it easier to bring others along. In Downtown traffic, the automatic transmission keeps things straightforward; out on Sheikh Zayed Road, the twin-turbo V8 gives it an unmistakably urgent character.

It is still a large, powerful SUV. Take speed bumps gently, and allow a little extra care when parking in tighter Marina spaces. At a hotel valet or along Jumeirah Beach Road, its striking colour is very much part of the appeal.

Best plans for the Urus S

This suits a birthday, a photo shoot or a Dubai visit where the car is part of the occasion, but you also want space for passengers. It can make a drive towards Hatta feel special without asking everyone to squeeze into a two-seat sports car. For a more relaxed day, take the paved roads through Dubai Hills and stop when it suits you.

It also works for an Abu Dhabi trip if you want a Lamborghini that can carry a group comfortably. Expect a sportier feel than a conventional luxury SUV, particularly over rougher surfaces.

The details that matter

Under the bonnet is a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 producing 657 hp, paired with an automatic transmission. This petrol SUV has five doors and seats five. Its gold finish gives it a particularly bold look, even by Urus standards.
